Can it be used with out the on/off switch?

I guess.  The bigger problem is that mine does not work at all and I will send it back.  It's probably not the fan's fault, but it's NZXT's horrible wiring setup.  The fans have two connectors, one with three wires and one with two.  The LED on my original fan (came with the case) stopped, and I bought the replacement.  Neither LED works.  I did an online chat with NZXT techs but was not satisfied with their logic and typed online communication is frustrating anyway.  They mailed me a "Y" connector but without installation instructions, so I'm still lost.

Will this fit properly in the NZXT H630?

It appears that your computer case came with one 200mm fan already installed per the specs on Newegg.    So if you have need to replace this fan or install one in the other 200 mm fan opening, I would be pretty confident that this would fit considering that it is made by the same manufacturer.    If you as still not sure look your case up on NewEgg, and review the specifications and make sure that we are speaking of the same fan.

Question 3

Hi.  Probably a noob dumb question (sorry!): The fan comes with 2 connectors.  One is the standard 3-pin for power, the other is a 2 pin weird connector, I assume for the LED.  What the heck does THAT attach to?  Also, where is this On/Off switch?

The two pin connector is for a power switch for the LED. I used it on my Phantom full tower and it was for the power switch on the back of the case.

I can't remember if I has to strip the wires for the 2 pin connector to attached it to the wires for the power button of if I just unplugged and plugged it in. Either option should work.

How do I connect the led on/off switch?

Its a 2pin connector. Very similar to the 3pin fan connector  If your just running the fan alone, it includes a push button. I know in my next phantom (and I beleive other late models like the 820) there is a bottom (on the back of the phantom) you can hook into that turns the LEDs on/off. Nzxt phantom included a y-splitter to connect two of these to the same button for the top of the case.

will this fan fit the Phantom PHAN-002OR?

Only in the top expansion.  It will not fit the side panel

Will this fit in the NZXT Phantom PHAN-001? If so what is your take on this vs the NZXT FN-200?

This fan will fit any nzxt case that says it has a 200mm fan slot. I personally prefer the nzxt FS because of the blue leds and because it runs at about 1/2 the noise of the FN but still moves a lot of air because it's so big.
