Is this an Intake or Exhaust fan?

The RGB is on the intake side, so the fan works best as exhaust fan. but can be mounted either way, will just cover up part of the RGB lighting.

My RGB Setup is nice but I really want to have a nice RGB Exhaust fan with a ring around it , but not having the fan blades themselves light up(Unlike the FD RGB Fans), I also want a 140mm fan since I have a singe Exhaust and I feel like this may be the one for me, but I am not sporting a Nzxt case I have a Fractal design define 7 XL, So what causes the LED lights to light up the Nzxt controller? Can't I just plug this 4 Pin directly into my Asus Aura Sync supported MB Chassis fan controller or a PWM controlled board that FD offers? Or will these LED's be doomed to not work, on an other configuration?

You’re going to need the NZXT Controller if you want this fan to light up. I purchased this fan not knowing that and tried plugging it in to pretty much everything imaginable and the lights never worked. The fan spins but no lights.

NZXT Kraken Z Series Z63 280mm - RL-KRZ63-01 ?

They will "work" but they are designed to be static pressure fans. With that said, I have seen people us them and the PC doesn't blow up or anything. Use at your own risk.

Will this work with Hue+?

From my understanding, no. But Hue+ products should work with HUE 2. It is better explained on the website and reddit.
