Phenomenal cpu cooler Intel I9 7900X Approved!9/7/2017 8:46:58 AM
Pros: - looks fantastic
- Easy to install
- Keeps my cpu extremely cool under load and while gaming
- Colors can be customized
- Cam software is fantastic, I've had zero issues
- Keeps the fire breathing Intel I9 7900X cool as ice at max load
- Fans are super quiet and push a lot of air
- Tubing is flexible and easy to work with NOT rigid and annoying
- 3 year warranty
- Did I mention it looks fantastic?
I purchased this cpu cooler for my i9 7900x cpu. Initially I had a h100i v2 from Corsair and it was terrible. Not only were their fans loud, at max load I had cores hitting temps of up to 90C. Also the h100i v2 tubing was ridiculously stiff and hard to work with. With this cpu cooler I am getting max load temps no higher than 61c at 4.5 ghz on all cores. While gaming for hours, pubg, call of duty infinite warfare, battlefield 1 my i9 stays nice and cool, never breaking 60c. Idle temps are 25c average. Thermal paste that comes on it is really good. I didn't bother stripping it off and using other paste. I know some people have complained about the cam software, but I've experienced 0 issues with it. Also pump is extremely silent.
Don't think twice about getting this cooler it's worth every penny.
Cons: - Not buying this would be a con for anybody looking for a fantastic AIO.
Overall Review: - I highly recommend this product and if I failed I would not hesitate to get another one via RMA.
Pros: Looks cool and has a cool application to manage everything.
Cons: My pump burned up in less than a few months of running. I got a response from their support team to give them info on the product and cannot get them to respond. This product was for a work computer and I told them that so I have bought a new cooler.
Overall Review: Like I said cool looking product but poor support and backing of their product. After some research the pump going out is a common issue so beware.

Pros: -Kept my CPU temps below 60 degrees, even under high stress.
- Easy installation
- Cool Lighting effects
Cons: - The CAM app by NZXT causes a bunch of problems on Windows 10. It's just bad software overall. What I did was set my colours and effects and then uninstalled it.

Pump died after 4 months of use7/27/2018 4:45:35 AM
Pros: The software is nice and it worked well when it did work.
Cons: 4 months of use and it died.
Overall Review: Had it for 4 months, everything seemed fine. Came home one day after work, went to turn on my pc and it just no longer works. Sad because I don't have a back up at the moment since my corsair h110 died after nearly 3 years. Reason I got this for a replacement.
Manufacturer Response:

Pros: Keeps cool
Looks nice
Cam software is great
Easy to slap in, Even have a video on their website
Last Cooler Master directions only had pictures .
Am4 ready
Has a great warranty
Cons: I wish I could align the pump so the hoses would be on the back side of my case. But to keep the Logo looking right I have to keep it installed like it is supposed to be. Just to take some slack out of the hoses and get them to tuck in better between graphics card and bottom of pump. When mounting radiator to top of case.. This is not really a problem with the cooler just me .
Overall Review: The CAM software must have been update because it has worked perfectly for me. It has replaced all the other system monitoring software I used to use. Its all in one place and I love it.
Have a Ryzen 1700X O.C to 3.8 and idle temps are low 29-32 C idle, In gaming never goes above 48c in silent mode.
I replaced a Cooler Master liquid cooler with this and temps are always at least 10C lower with this and I have peace of mind to be able to watch pump speeds etc.
Looks amazing the RGB is pretty.
I been using this on silent so I have more room for cooling if needed. I have cranked it to 100% pump and fans, and you can hear it if you try but coming from my last build that thing sounded like a hurricane.
Looks good, but faulty parts in box1/30/2018 11:01:18 AM
Pros: The cooler works
Cons: Faulty Parts......When attaching to my M/B one of the Thumb screws was stripped. It tightens down half way and then just keeps twisting and not tightening. New box, this should not be an issue. I have had to rig the cooler onto the bracket by using a washer and nut to keep the cooler in place. One should not have to Jerry rig a $200 item onto their M/B. Le Sigh

Pain in the *** but man is it pretty.1/3/2018 10:06:50 PM
Pros: Best looking water block on the market.
CAM software is very robust but...
Cons: Requires a full USB 2.0 header when only using half of it.
Interferes with first RAM slot when in standard orientation.
Overall Review: So I am usually a function over form kinda guy, but for some reason this build I decided to make a bit of a show piece.
This cooler is easily the best looking one on the market (subjectively speaking).
The major issue I came across was a compatibility issue with NZXT's own H700i as the former requires a USB 2.0 header and the latter requires 2.
It seems like with a little for though NZXT could have easily included a Y splitter with either the cooler or the case but I guess $500 CDN for case and cooler wasn't enough, they took a page from EA and added the micro transaction of an internal USB hub to the mix. I have reached out to NZXT in regards to this issue and depending on the outcome may change this review.
A smaller issue is that in the CAM software there is no option to have the LEDs fade between colours when in smart mode and the quick colour changes can be a bit jarring.
But all of that said this is still an awesome cooler for a showpiece PC, now if only they would sell the water block, pump and lighting system separately for an open loop.
