Hello., If you have a pcie slot, from what I have found it will work, but you''ll have to get the drivers for the revo drive from ocz.  I am finding that if you don't buy a good pcie card, you maybe be unhappy about it.  It's fast buit make sure you get the one that is most up to date, like the revodrive3.  I got this revo also, and well heck, it is not the 3.0 6gb/s one, so I have a sata 2.  I'll be upgrading, leason learned on my end...

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work.  If you have the device set as a primary drive it will work just as any other HDD on the market.  If it is set as a secondary drive and the drivers are loaded on the system you should be able to allocate however much drive space needed through VMware.

So far I have had this device tested on almost all Microsoft Operating Systems which include Server 2008, 2010, Windows 7, 8.  What I can do however is test the device with VMware to verify the functionality and let you know the results by Friday (11/29/2013).
