How is the drive formatted(what file system)?

Accepted Answer

I used Gparted (free) to format the drive to NTFS before installing Windows. I also reformatted the drive when Windows setup reached the option to choose the installion partition by clicking on drive options - format. Once Windows is setup you can use command line instructions to change the drive to UEFI if needed.

Question 2

Any idea what firmware version is loaded?

(Running linux and remember all the stories related to the sandforce controller)

I just got mine and it has 1.37 installed on it already. It came with NTFS on the drive but you can change that if needed. Sandforce was not released until after this drive was I believe.
