Yes you can. You actually have to use the usb cable as part of the setup.

Can this printer be print from a MAC computer?

A quick search on google shows that there are MacOS drivers for this printer (on the HP website). So yes.

Does the inkjet cartridge come included or those it have to be purchased separately?

Yes it comes with cartridges but they are short life and I suggest you order extra ones with the printer
