I have a 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 pn: 9SL154-336 will this case this HDD ?

It's wise to ask this question, as I bought this drive case because it seemed to fit 2.5" (laptop-type) SSDs. Only after I received it did I find that it fits larger 3.5" (desktop-style) drives. I had such a drive available so I kept the unit but I wish I had asked a question such as your before.

There is a small slide switch on the back of the case that turns the fan on or off. With the fan running, the case can be a bit loud. With it off you hear only the whine from the drive (if any). The case dissipates heat very well even with the fan off, so I suggest you turn the fan off and monitor temperatures for a while. If the don't go too high, keep the fan turned off and enjoy some peace and quiet. This is what I did with my 1TB drive that is very similar to yours.

Is the (Western Digital RE WD2000FYYZ 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB) compatable with (ORICO 3519SUS3-BK Aluminum Alloy HDD External Enclosure with E-SATA and USB3.0 Interface) Case?

The enclosure must be compatible with the WD2000FYYZ, as that hard drive has the same form factor and physical dimensions as other 3.5-inch SATA drives.  I put a WD 1 TB drive in the ORICO external enclosure, and ORICO say they support up to 3 TB drives. The physical differences between the 1 and 2 TB WD drives are internal, in the number of platters & heads, with the FYYZ having more - 5 platters, 10 heads, and about 2 more ounces in weight. They both have 22-pin SATA connectors.

The 3.5" form factor external dimensions are:

Question 3

I have a WD20EADS hard drive from a dead MyBook enclosure.  When put into the enclosure and powered up, the drive is recognized under Disk Utility on my MBP but I cannot partition or format it.  The drive capacity is also grossly over stated in Disk Utility.  Is the firmware on this enclosure incompatible with my drive? I also tried under Storage Manager on a Windows 7 laptop and ran into the same issue.  Please help.

I have used WD 1TB Black and WD 2TB Black drives in the enclosure as well as 2TB Seagate drive without issues. I have not had any issues with the enclosure at all and this is on a windows 8.1 desktop and Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 laptops. I don't know the specs of the WD20EADS drive but from what I've seen the enclosure should handle the drive without issues. sorry if this isn't a lot of help but that has been my experience over the last 5 months with the enclosure. no problems at all.

this enclosure will work with western digital black  WD2003FZEX?

I need to be sure.  Im planning to buy both of them to you guys.

I cannot say that I have tested that particular drive with that particular device but as a data recovery for 12 years I can tell you that if the drive interface and the device interface (the way they connect together) are compatible then, all other things being equal, data will flow between them.
