Compatible with Windows 7 professional?

According to the specs, it's supposed to be.  But I had nothing but problems with mine using Windows 7 Professional.  I returned one and got a replacement, which experienced the same problems.  I have no idea if the problems that I experienced were  Windows 7 related or not.

I ended up buying a "Basics" model from another online retailer after giving up on this hub.

Is this product compatible with surface pro from microsoft?
