Are these cards replicas? On the R4Wood website, the card doesn't have a banner with '2017', its just a small circle.

yes it is a replica or clone card. it will not work with the real r4 firmware. the web site to get official firmware is r4i-sdhc not  r4isdhc. it will work but be slower than i a real one only a boot or game load.
