The Tour de France automobile was a car competition that stage by stage run through the streets of France. It was created in 1899 by the Automobile Club of France and organized by the newspaper Le Matin. This competition became successful when the best drivers could drive the best cars, then came the decline. The last edition was held in 1986.
This Ferrari reached the 14th position with drivers A. Soisbault. Montaigu - N. Roure. Model car produced in Italy in our Saronno laboratory, turned spoked wheels in real aluminum based on a Borrani design.
