The Hasbro Nerf DinoSquad Tricera-Blast Blaster is a manually operated foam dart blaster styled after the Triceratops dinosaur. The blaster uses a break-open barrel loading mechanism: pressing the front horn on the dino head releases the barrel, which swings downward to expose a three-dart chamber. After loading up to three Nerf Elite foam darts, the barrel swings back into the closed position. Firing requires hammer-priming pull the rear hammer down to prime, then depress the trigger to fire one dart per trigger pull.
The blaster ships with 12 Nerf Elite foam darts. All 12 darts can be stored in the integrated dart rack along the stock for convenient in-play access without needing to leave the field. No batteries required. The blaster is constructed primarily from plastic and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
