The ProTechTrader Make: Electronics Economy Kit 2 has been designed specifically for the updated, rewritten 3rd Edition revision of Make: Electronics by Charles Platt. The recently improved 2023 version of the kits includes additional components as suggested by the author. We worked with Charles Platt directly for our kits to follow his experiments, just the way he intended. The ProTechTrader electronics kits are highly recommended by the author and are a perfect introduction for the new electronics enthusiast. Rounding up all of the necessary components can be frustrating and time consuming, whereas we think learning electronics should be fun and exciting! The component shopping has been done so you can hit the ground running and complete all of the experiments in sections 1-3 of the 3rd edition book. After developing both a personal and business relationship with Charles Platt in creating a kit for his second edition book, we were fortunate enough to work alongside Mr. Platt to develop the kit for this third edition of “Make: Electronics” and to unveil the kit to coincide with the release. Charles' down-to-earth, old-school approach to teaching electronics gives the reader an easy-to-understand way to learn basic electronic circuits and principles in the book series that continues to inspire.
