Colorbok Makit & Bakit Suncatcher Kit: Mermaid

The Colorbok Makit & Bakit Mermaid Suncatcher Kit gives young crafters everything needed to create a vibrant, light-catching mermaid-themed window decoration. The kit includes a pre-formed plastic suncatcher mold in a mermaid silhouette, translucent color pellets, and a hanging cord for display.
Construction is straightforward: fill the mold with the included colored pellets, bake in a standard oven, and allow to cool the pellets fuse into a smooth, jewel-toned piece that refracts light when hung in a sunny window. No paints or additional adhesives required. The plastic mold and pellet materials are non-toxic and formulated for safe handling by children. Recommended for ages 6 and up with adult supervision during the baking step. Finished suncatcher dimensions vary by mold shape; kit packaging provides exact measurements. Ideal for solo crafting sessions, classroom projects, or rainy-day activities. A great introductory craft kit that develops fine motor skills and color recognition through a satisfying, take-home result.
