How often should I replace the battery in my Invisible Fence Computer Collar?
We recommend changing the battery every 3 months—it’s the safest, easiest, and most reliable way to help ensure your pet’s safety at all times.
How long does the battery last with normal usage?
Our Power Cap Battery typically lasts for 90-120 days depending on usage. You can check this by removing it for 5 seconds and reinserting it into the Computer Collar. If you see a green light, then the battery is good.
Is there an expiration date on each battery?
Yes, there is a "Best used by" date listed on the back of he battery's packaging.
Are all Power Cap batteries interchangeable?
We recommend only using Invisible Fence Brand power caps with our computer collars.
Does Invisible Fence have a battery recycling program?
We currently do not have a recycling program for our Power Cap Batteries. Used batteries can be brought to your local recycling center for disposal.
