How to lock/unlock:If you want to lock it at a certain distance, you simply push the button down and pull back just a bit, and the leash will lock. If you want to just stop the dog for a second, you simply push the button to stop the retractable feature.If you want to unlock it, push the big button forward.
Troubleshooting
1.After receiving the product, please carefully check if there are any damages during the transportation process.
2. Make sure that your dog's weight does not exceed the capacity of the leash. No more than 50 pounds.
3. If the rope cannot be retracted during use, you need to check if it is jammed. If it gets stuck, you can try pulling out a section of the rope and then retract it.
4. Please note. Do not fully release the rope. Especially when the dog rushes forward, the strong pulling force will damage the spring and the internal structure, and you need to stop it in time.
