Adjust the slide to an appropriate position so that the outlet could dispense perfect amount of food per feeding release for your pets. Also a fish feeding ring(4'' * 4'') is supplied to help keep your water clear.

A: The feeding amount can be adjusted. You should get it adjusted well to dispense appropriate amount for your fish before you put it on your tank. Test it first, so that you always know where to have the feeder door open to. You could use a permanent marker so that you will always know how open it should be.
Q: I bought this aquarium auto feeder, how do I know what’s the current automatic mode time I set before?
A: For example, if the small green lamp near the icon “24h” is blinking every 5 seconds, that’s how you know it feeds every 24 hours. And every time after you push the manual button, the feeder will restore to your previous setting after a full rotation.
Q: Two AA batteries are included in the package with the vacation fish feeder or not?
A: No, there are no batteries inside.
Q: My aquarium is about 5ft away from the socket. Will it be a little far to use the USB to power the fish automatic feeder?
A: The cable is as long as 6.6ft. It will be perfect. You can use the batteries too if you don't like any cable hanging over the aquarium.
