The compact double-ended SharXS HTI 400 W/D3/75 from OSRAM now has a life of 1000 hours. This is thanks to its optimised filling and the improved shape of the bulb. The key features of this powerful "metal halide lamp", which belongs to the modular SharXS product family, are a short arc and eXtreme Seal technology (XStechnology). The short arc, which measures just 3 mm, produces an enormous luminance of 55, 000 cd/ cm² on average which in turn means that the effect lighting equipment has a high system luminous efficacy.
