Does the Cosmo 350 include a rechargeable battery?
Out of the box, it includes three standard AAA alkaline batteries. However, it features Dual-Fuel technology, meaning it is fully compatible with our rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery (sold separately) for maximum power flexibility.
Is this headlamp fully waterproof?
Yes. The Cosmo 350 is IPX8 rated, meaning it is tested to operate at least 1.1 meters underwater for 30 minutes. If submerged, water may enter the compartment but the light will still run—just ensure you dry it out completely after wet trips.
How do I stop the headlamp from turning on accidentally in my pack?
It features a digital lockout. Simply press and hold both buttons simultaneously until the light flashes to lock or unlock the device. This ensures you don't accidentally drain your battery during transit.
Can I turn on the red light without blinding myself with the white light first?
Yes. The streamlined dual-button interface allows you to activate the red night-vision mode directly without cycling through the white beam, preserving your night-adjusted vision around camp.
What are the burn time and beam distance specs on the highest setting?
At full 350-lumen output, the beam reaches up to 64 meters. Total burn time on high is 3 hours using standard AAAs (included), or up to 5 hours when powered by the rechargeable BD 1500 battery (sold separately).
