How to use

Step 1
Start with a 400# side and sharpen the blade back and forth with very little force at an angle of 15 to 30 degrees on the sharpening surface. Sharpening is recommended every six months.

Step 2
Afterwards use the 600# side and sharpen the blade back and forth at an angle of 15 to 30 degrees on the grinding surface using less force than in step 1. Typically, weekly or daily use is recommended to keep the knife sharp.

Step 3
After sharpening, wipe with a damp cloth or rinse with water and dry. Clean the surface of the sharpener with a soft brush to keep it clean.
