Smart Rodent Detection – Pet & Children Safe, Updated Pyroelectric Infrared Sensor
Pet Safe Infrared Sensor & Rodent Entrance at the Side: The chamber is designed with infrared sensor & rodent entrance at the side. It only activates when it detects a rodent inside the trap; This prevents false zaps while protecting children and pets.
The trap is also equipped with an updated pyroelectric infrared sensor that detects body heat. When a mouse enters, the sensor wakes the system from standby, preparing it for action. As soon as the mouse crosses into the infrared zone, the trap is instantly triggered — ensuring precise and reliable capture. With this dual-detection system, the trap achieves highcapture success rate under normal working conditions.
Note: the inside metal plate may appear a little bit "scratched", which is our unique design to better conduct electricity. This does not indicates a defective/used product.
LED Indicator Lights
LED light notifies you when the job is done. When the light blinks green, you’ll know to empty out the trap. Batteries are running low when the light blinks red.
Quick-Zap System & No Touch, No See Features
Our unique zap system ensures elimination without causing the rodent to suffer. It’s also a safer alternative to traditional traps and can be placed anywhere inside your home or business. With magnetic latches, you’ll never have to touch or see the rodent. Simply pull off the trap's lid and empty the rodent in the trash. Owltra deactivates automatically when the the top is removed, allowing for safe and secure cleaning.
Convenient Bait Area
Lure rodents in by placing a pea-sized amount of bait at the back of the trap. Simply lift open the bait door and use a toothpick or cotton swab to apply bait on the trap's floor, opposite of the entrance. Baits high in protein, such as peanut butter, are recommended.
Suitable for Most Indoor Settings!
Place Owltra rodent traps anywhere indoors, including but not limited to: home, office, café, restaurant, stores, etc.
Note: This model is suitable for mice and smaller rodents. For larger rodents, please purchase our OWLTRA OW-1 Electric Rat Trap, available in both 1- and 2-pack.
How to Use Owltra Rodent Zapper Trap
1. Insert Batteries
Turn the switch to OFF Position, inset the batteries.
2. Load the Bait
Lift the bait cover and put bait into the bait cup. Please place the bait correctly as shown in the picture. Wrong placement may cause the trap fail to work, or the bait may be eaten without rodent being caught.
Power-on the Device and Set the Trap
Close the bait cover, turn the power switch to ON Position.
Place the traps where rat activity is frequent, entrance facing out.
CAUTION: OWLTRA electric traps can only be used indoors. Please do not use this product outdoors to avoid damage of the product.
4. Cleaning the Trap
The upper electric part couldn’t be cleaned by water, and the lower part of the trap chamber can be washed with water. After cleaning, please wait for the trap chamber to thoroughly dry before turning it on, otherwise it may cause the power-on self-test to fail (both red and green light flash). If necessary, you can use a hair dryer to dry the metal plate. Then restart it. Close the switch until it can start normally.
