This device can be washed by water or rain directly. During inclement weather, if there is water on the ground, please insure this unit is at least 2 inches above the ground to prevent submerge.

Moist clay is the best conductor of sound while dry, sandy or peat soil will weaken the penetrate of sonic waves to some extent.
