Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester with FieldSense 1 to 600V AC or DC FieldSense technology for AC voltage and current measurement without making electrical contact to live voltage Works with wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2) with a 17.8 mm jaw opening Easy to read display with backlight Accepts optional Fluke TPAK Magnetic Meter Hanger for convenient operation Rated 600V CAT IIIProduct OverviewThe Fluke T6-600 is a revolutionary new meter that's the first of its kind. Thanks to a unique new technology from Fluke called FieldSense, the T6-600 is able to measure voltage up to 600V and current up to 200A using only the meter's open jaw.

The meter's open fork jaw measures 17.8 mm and is large enough to fit wires up to AWG 4/0. With this instrument, test leads are no longer required to take voltage measurements. Important SpecsWith the power of FieldSense, you can measure multiple electrical parameters using the meter's open jaw alone. FieldSense supports measurement of AC voltage up to 600V and AC current up to 200A (FieldSense frequency measurement is available on the T6-1000 model). That said, the T6-600 does come with built-in test leads which allow you to measure AC and DC voltage up to 600V, and resistance up to 2000O.

It is important to note that in order to get the most from FieldSense Technology, the T6 meter must have a capacitive path to ground. In most applications, this is provided by the user via a ground contact on the rear of the meter. However, in some cases a ground connection must be made using one of the built-in test leads. FieldSense can only measure voltage relative to ground and must have a solid ground connection. Phase to phase measurement is not possible with FieldSense.
