The HP-9100 is a passive high impedance oscilloscope probe designed and calibrated for use with instruments having an input impedance of 1 MO shunted by 20pF. However, it may be compensated for use with instruments having an input capacitance of 10 to 30pF.

The probe incorporates a three position slide switch in the head which selects attenuation of x1, x10 or a ground reference position:

    Position X10:
    Attenuation Ratio: 10:1
    Bandwidth: DC to 100MHz
    Rise Time: 3.5nS
Input Resistance: 10MO when used with oscilloscopes which have 1MO input.
    Input Capacitance: Approx. 13 pF
Compensation Range: 10 to 30 pF
Working Voltage: 600V CAT I, 300V CAT II (DC + peak AC) derating with frequency

    Position X1:
    Attenuation Ratio: 1:1
    Bandwidth: DC to 6MHz
    Rise Time: 58nS
Input Resistance: 1MO (oscilloscope input resistance)
Input Capacitance: 56 pF plus oscilloscope capacitance
Working Voltage: 300V CAT I, 150V CAT II (DC + peak AC) derating with frequency

    Position REF:
Probe tip opened, oscilloscope input grounded

Includes 1 ea. probe, spring hook, ground lead, insulating tip, measuring tip, IC tip, adjusting tool, channel identifier clip, BNC adapter.

    Cable Length: Approx. 4 feet
