- Above 5.35GHz the tinySA Ultra uses harmonic mixing. As the mixer in the tinySA is not designed for this, the conversion loss varies and you may have to calibrate out some variation. To check if this is needed set the tinySA to a center frequency 5.35GHz, span 100kHz, RBW 300kHz and apply an input signal at 5.35GHz. When your device needs calibration you will see a step in the measured level at 5.35GHz
- The compensation for this change in conversion loss is done by the CONFIG/LEVEL CAL/CALIBRATE above 5.34GHz command. To eliminate this step, provide a 5.34GHz input signal between -50 dBm and -10 dBm and execute the CALIBRATE above 5.34GHz command. When successful the step should be gone.

The ultra-wide range frequency can reach around 6GHz, together with the excellence of phase noise -92dBc@10kHz, DANL -166dBm/Hz; In Ultra mode the input low pass filter is automatically enabled for all frequencies within the pass-band of the low pass filter (up to 750MHz). For higher frequencies the low pass filter will be bypassed and the measurement will be slower due to the multiple measurements frequency required for the mirror and spur elimination algorithm

Differences to the Former TinySa: The first big one is that now the default maximum frequency is 800mhz, so you no longer have to switch between low and high range, and can monitor the complete range in one sweep; Second, In the level menu, there is the LNA, which will provide 20db of extra gain if you have very low level signal; Lastly, RBW frequency from 200hz to 850khz which can be set to match the measurement requirements, meet SBB two-tone test requirements and fast scanning
