They operate independently; if a dangerous concentration is detected in either direction, the smoke and carbon monoxide alarm will sound and the red LED will flash.

Easy-to-Read Digital Display: The display on this combined smoke and carbon monoxide detector shows the concentration of carbon monoxide or smoke and lights up when the alarm sounds. This smoke alarm features a standby mode where the screen remains off, so you wont be disturbed while its active. In standby mode, the green LED flashes approximately once every 60 seconds.

Loud Beeping Sound: This combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarm emits a beep exceeding 85 decibels and flashes a red LED. The sound is loud enough to alert you to danger so you can take immediate action. We recommend installing multiple units in your home for maximum protection.

Red or Green LED Indicators: This smoke and carbon monoxide detector displays low battery warnings by sounding an alarm and flashing a red LED. The red LED also flashes when a danger is detected. The green LED with a beep is the test button, used to check the operational status of the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Is the green light too bright?: If you find the green LED too bright, we recommend covering it with clear PVC until it feels comfortable. This smoke alarm is very easy to install. It is suitable for installation on both walls and ceilings.
