Used to detect counterfeit currency. It combines three counterfeit detection methods in one device: a UV light for security features, a white light for watermark inspection, and a counterfeit detector pen that chemically tests the paper.
What do I look for using the UV light on the Tri-Test?
The UV light reveals the embedded security thread in U.S. bills ($5 and up). Each denomination glows a different color and appears in a specific location on the bill. For example, a $20 bill will show a green glow in a specific vertical strip.
Can I use the Tri-Test on non-U.S. currency?
