NON-CONTACT VOLTAGE DETECTORS
Sperry’s new Non-Contact Voltage Detector with Flashlight works with tamper resistant, weather resistant, GFCI and standard outlets. It verifies the presence of AC voltage prior to working on an electrical installation or during troubleshooting without requiring physical contact with live electrical conductors.
Battery self-testing feature ensures that the batteries are functioning properly and eliminates false negative readings. They both operate from a single AAA battery and have a pocket clip for secure portability. Applications include quickly locating hot terminals in receptacles, pinpointing breaks in wires and detecting the absence/presence of voltage at outlets, circuit breaker panels, light fixtures, switches, and motors.
