VATTMATT combines Swedish "Vatten" (water) and "Mät" (measure). Embracing Scandinavian minimalism, we strip away plant care complexity. Inspired by years managing a professional nursery, Ms. Sun designed it to solve growers' biggest puzzle: "When exactly should I water?"
The Plant Reader: From Blue to White, It Tells You Exactly When to Water.

While temperature is easy to measure, a plant’s thirst remains elusive. After 18 months of rigorous testing, VATTMATT solved it via a high-density rigid fiber. It penetrates tough soil without collapsing nanopores, using capillary action to deliver root-zone moisture data with pro accuracy.
Quick Start in 2 Steps

First-time use, please allow 30 minutes to 2 hours sync. This depends on how long it has been since the plant was last watered. The drier the plant is, the longer it takes for the aquameter to sync. If it still hasn't turned blue, it means your plant is currently dehydrated. It's time to water.
Beyond Moisture Tracking: A Health Diagnostic Tool

How to use it correctly?
Simply insert the entire section below the Aquameter visual window into the soil. If the pot is shallower than the Aquameter, you can trim it to fit.
Why isn't the Aquameter changing color? Not working.

Do I need to insert and remove it every day to check?
To avoid damaging the roots, there is no need to repeatedly insert and remove the product. It is suitable for long-term monitoring.
Any restrictions on plants or soil unsuitable for use?
Avoid using on clay soils. Suitable for all plants.

Turns reddish-brown when soil environment requires attention
Develops white crystals at the tip to signal excessive salt or mineral buildup
