What material is used to construct your swivel stands?
We use only high-impact ABS material to construct our swivel stands and turntable bases. Other imitation swivels use inexpensive polypropylene that is brittle, and prone to breaking, cracking, and warping.

LapWorks has committed to using durable, high-quality materials in all its products to maximize the product lifespan. We put our products through rigorous testing, operating rotation tests 10,000 times.
I want to use this for my TV - how do I know which LapWorks swivel base will be best for me?
1. Identify whether your TV has two legs or one stand. If two, use the 4KTV Swivel
2. Measure depth and outside width of the TV stand (not TV itself)
3. Compare measurements vs. length of the All-Purpose Swivels, Pedestal TV stand & 2-Leg TV Stand
My swivel isn't rotating smoothly, what do I do?
Ensure that the weight is properly centered on your swivel and that there is even pressure on your swivel surface to allow the turntable to make contact to entire surface below.
Can you use the swivels indoors and outdoors?
Our black utility swivels are designed for indoor use. For outdoor use please see our 12" Terra Cotta Swivel base, designed specifically for indoor & outdoor use.
