Plug in the adapter or insert 4×AA batteries (one power source only) ? thread the top path ? insert bobbin and pull up the bobbin thread ? lower the presser foot ? set speed to L and test-sew on two layers of cotton.
Can I use both adapter and batteries together?
No. Use the AC adapter or 4×AA alkaline batteries—one or the other.
What fabrics can I sew?
Light–medium weight woven/knit fabrics (e.g., cotton, linen, polyester). Test on scraps. Avoid very thick leather, hard vinyl, or many heavy layers.
Safety basics I should know?
Keep fingers away from the needle, power off before threading/needle change, turn the handwheel toward you only, and never sew without fabric under the foot.
