Always make sure both the top and bobbin threads are properly threaded before you start sewing.

- Different fabric with different tension. The larger the number, the tighter the top thread tension.
- When sewing thick fabrics, it is generally recommended to loosen (decrease) the upper thread tension. Conversely, when sewing thin or delicate fabrics, you usually need to tighten (increase) the upper thread tension.
