The Oster Teston Platinum Collection is an 8-inch square nonstick carbon steel cake pan for home bakers who want an easy-release pan for cakes and other small-batch baking; it measures 8 × 8 × 2 inches and is hand-wash only.
Recommended For
- Home bakers making brownies or bar desserts from recipes written for an 8-inch square pan; the format matches the recipe and the nonstick interior is intended to help with release.
- Bakers who want to make small batches of cake or brownies rather than a larger pan’s worth; an 8-inch square pan suits recipes written for that size.
- People baking one-layer square cakes, brownies, or similar desserts who value easier food release; professional testing found nonstick pans released cakes and brownies more easily when recipes were prepared as directed.
- Bakers who are comfortable hand-washing bakeware and want a compact square pan for occasional cakes or brownies; this pan is listed as hand-wash only.
