Step 1: Twist the top cap of the nozzle to open
The top of the nozzle regulates how much powder is dispensed. Precisely adjust the amount of powder by twisting the top more or less.
Step 2: Lift hair and apply a small amount of powder
Start with a small amount. Do not apply to the scalp. Divide hair into sections. Lift up bundles of hair and apply the dry shampoo near the root where residue won't be visible. Lay the bundle of hair back down to diminish the appearance of any residue.
Step 3: Massage in using your fingers or a brush
Give the dry shampoo a minute (or a few) to absorb the excess oils before gently massaging it in at the root and brushing it out.
If there is white residue, gently brush it out with a soft bristle brush or massage the powder in until the powder becomes translucent. Applying too much or directly on the scalp can result in visible buildup.

Instructions
When you open the bottle for the first time, tap the base of the bottle on a hard surface before slowly opening. Divide hair into sections. Lift up bundles of hair and apply the dry shampoo near the root where residue won't be visible. Lay the bundle of hair back down to diminish the appearance of any residue.

Troubleshooting Steps:
White residue: Start with less product and incrementally increase the amount as you see fit. If there is white residue, gently brush it out with a soft bristle brush or massage the powder in until the powder becomes translucent. Applying too much or directly on the scalp can result in visible buildup.
Still oily: Ensure hair is fully dry before application. Use at the very first sign of oily hair, do not wait until hair is too oily.
