How FlipFit was Invented
I’m Lena, CEO of EcoWave. The FlipFit lid was invented by accident during one of my ADHD fidgeting moments. Surrounded by mason jars and early prototypes I designed and 3D-printed, I flipped my regular-mouth prototype and force-fit it onto a wide-mouth mason jar. Realizing it could fit both sizes, I redesigned it, and FlipFit was born. The cat-face plug was inspired by stray cats that I care for, providing shelter, food, and of course, love.
Why is the lid called FlipFit?
Some customers tried stretching the lid to fit a wide-mouth jar instead of flipping and messaged me "It doesn’t fit". I would just respond, “Just flip to fit."
