Raindrip 1/2-Inch Compression Tees
- Adds a “T” intersection to your 1/2 in. supply tubing or dripline
- Works in a variety of areas, from small to large, flat or sloped, to join distribution tubing in your drip irrigation system
- 1/2 in. tee connects 1/2 in. supply tubing or dripline together, or connects 1/2 in. tubing to other drip irrigation parts to transport water to the area to be irrigated
- Creates a watertight connection with an internal barb that compresses the inserted tubing to hold it in place
- Unlike a barbed fitting, the tubing is not stretched out to connect to the fitting
- Compression ring is color-coded for easy identification: blue fits 0.710 in. tubing with 0.710 in. OD; black fits 5/8 in. tubing with 0.700 in. OD; green fits 1/2 in. tubing with 0.620 in. OD
- Handles water pressures up to 50 psi
- Comes with one 1/2 in. Compression Tee
Add a T intersection to create a lateral line or branch in your drip system with the 1/2 in. Compression Tee. The fitting joins three sections of 1/2 in. supply tubing or dripline. To install, insert tubing inside the compression ring, where an internal barb compresses the tubing for a watertight connection. Having trouble with the tubing? Try rocking it back and forth while applying pressure, or soften the tube with a hot water soak or leaving it out in the sun. This compression fitting is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking. Drip irrigation systems are easy to customize, install, and operate. As part of a complete system, drip fittings are connectors that attach sections of tubing together or to other drip irrigation parts. Drip irrigation gradually and evenly waters the root zone of your plants, keeping it moist but never saturated with water.
