Does this unit have a suction cup for mounting on the car?  HOw is it mounted?  Are there user fees to use this GPS?

Yes it comes with a windshield suction cup and there are no user fees.  It has free lifetime map updates.  That said, I would recommend one of the friction dash mounts.  They have a silicone base and sit on the dash easily and don't move around.  There is no ring left on the windshield and it's easy to pick up the whole unit and sit it under your seat when not in use to prevent theft.

does this unit have an ear bud port or a usb port?

Mine came with a USB cord.  Device port is mini on one end like many smartphone chargers.  It does have a SD card slot also.  The touch screen needed to be recalibrated.  Came without a manual.  I sent email to Garmin about problem and had answer with resolution about 2 hours later.  Great service and I have had no trouble with the unit for nearly 2 years.

Does the wall mount , charger and other stuff comes with this GPS?

No wall mount, but does come with car mount & charger for the car.  Updates from garmin using a pc and USB cable.  easily done. I bought a separate dash friction mount that works well, since I use it in two cars.  Works as advertised!

Can this item be used out of the car for geotagging? Can it find a specific spot on a trail?

Trails won't show up on the map unless you buy a map that has them (I don't know of any, but you can check on the Garmin site). It will give you coordinates accurate to within a few feet. These coordinates are in degrees-minutes-seconds.

No manual to speak of but you can go online and find out everything. This is all also where you find the updates, I'm not sure about Canada though.

yep.  All of that.  Better answer is the unit is basic but a great addition.  I bought a van with built in GPS and the Nuvi is a much better GPS than what I paid a whole lot more from in the van.  More accurate, easier to use, etc.
