Uniden BC-GPSK Serial GPS Receiver for Scanner and Marine Products

<p>Uniden's BC-GPSK provides a simple solution to connecting a GPS to your Uniden location-based scanner or another NMEA-compatible device. The included cable plugs directly into a DB-9 RS-232 port. The optional Uniden GPS adapter cable (adapter cable BWZG1844001 sold separately) easily connects to Uniden handheld scanners and the HomePatrol-1.</p>
Small and Compact Design
<p>The compact GPS design includes a built-in magnetic base to easily secure to your vehicle and weighs in at a mere 7 ounces. The weatherproof design lets you mount the unit outside for the best possible satellite signal reception and it has a waterproof housing.</p>
Can Be Used With Multiple Uniden Scanners
<p>The BC-GPSK provides location data for Uniden Scanners including the following: BCD396T, BCD996T/BCD996XT, BCT15/BCT15X, and can be used with the following, which require the BWZG1844001 adapter cable (sold separately): BCD396XT, BC346XT, and HomePatrol-1. You can use it for Automatic Packet Reporting Systems (APRS) and it is compatible with many Marine Radios for position plotting and reporting and it has an industry-standard NMEA 0183 output with a SIRF III Chipset for rapid satellite acquisition. It's also WAAS capable of superior location accuracy.</p>
