PortPlugs USB-C Port Blockers 25 Pack, Secure Fit with Easy Removal - Black

What are USB-C port blockers used for?

PortPlugs USB-C Port Blockers physically cover compatible unused USB-C ports to help control access to cables, chargers, drives, and other peripherals. They provide a simple physical access-control solution without requiring software or device settings.

Who uses USB-C port blockers at work?

These blockers are suitable for IT teams, facilities teams, schools, laboratories, retail locations, shared workspaces, kiosks, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other organizations managing compatible USB-C equipment.

Can I use them on a phone or tablet?

Yes. They are designed for compatible USB-C ports on smartphones, tablets, computers, and other USB-C devices. Compatibility may vary depending on the port design and device case.

Can they help reduce exposure to unwanted USB connections?

When installed, a blocker physically covers a compatible USB-C port and prevents a cable or accessory from being connected until the blocker is removed. This can help reduce unwanted wired connections when USB-C access is not needed.

How are the blockers removed?

Each set includes two metal removal keys. Use an included key to remove the blocker when USB-C access is required, then reinstall it when the port should remain covered.

Are these the same as keyed metal USB locks?

No. These are removable plastic USB-C port blockers designed to cover unused ports and help discourage unwanted physical access. PortPlugs also offers metal keyed port blockers for applications requiring a different construction.

Do they also help keep dust out?

Yes. Covering an unused compatible USB-C port can help reduce exposure to lint, dust, and everyday debris.

Will they fit every USB-C device?

They are designed for compatible standard USB-C ports. Recessed ports, tight protective cases, and nonstandard housings may affect fit. Verify compatibility before installation.

What is included?

Available in different pack sizes and colors, depending on the product variant. Each set includes two metal removal keys. Check the selected product variant for the exact number and color of blockers included.
