Low battery can affect the performance of the keyboard/mouse.
Restart your device, re-pair the wireless keyboard with receiver respectively (Check in the manual), trying a different USB-A port if necessary

The low battery indicator on the keyboard will flash red when the power is too low.
How do I switch the shortcut keys to multimedia or F1-F12 functions?
