A: Key operation: 1. turn the ignition on without starting the car; 2. Start the car.
Keyless operation: 1. press start button - press again (do not press brake pedal) - insert tool and read; 2. press brake pedal and start button.
Q: Is this scanner compatible with hybrid, diesel trucks, motorcycle?
A: It supports most 12V OBD2 gasoline vehicles. For diesel trucks, we recommend ANCEL HD601. Compatibility with hybrid or motorcycle is limited.
Q: Does it support battery testing or battery reset functions?
A: No, this scanner does not offer battery test or reset features. You may consider our AD410 PRO for those capabilities.
Q: Does this scanner read ABS/SRS/Transmission codes or reset TPMS or count misfire?
A: No, this model is designed for engine diagnostics only. ABS/SRS/Transmission/TPMS/count misfire, we recommend one of our advanced models like ANCEL FX6100.
Q: Can I update the scanner on a Mac or mobile device?
A: Firmware updates are only supported via Windows PC. Mac OS and mobile devices are not compatible for updates at this time.
