The USB 2.0 Type C Cat.6 100m extender can be used to extend the distance between a USB device and the Type C host computer up to 100m. It consists of a transmitter unit that connects to the USB Type C computer and a receiver unit that connects to the USB Type A device. A standard Cat.5e/6 network cable (not included) is then used to connect the two devices together. For maximum performance and compatibility, we recommend using single-strand patch cable. For convenience, this USB 2.0 extender comes with a power supply, which can be connected if additional power is needed. * Please note: this extender is not able to support USB devices that require a lot of bandwidth like FullHD webcams.
