This 2-port HDMI splitter displays the same image with sound on two screens. It features HDR and HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 conversion. The built-in EDID management switch allows outputting two different display resolutions using its scaler (EDID Auto) or copying EDID settings from output port 1 to the other display at a desired resolution from 720p and up (EDID Copy). It offers flexible audio support with three output options: HDMI, a 3.5mm port, and an Optical digital port for connection to speakers or amplifiers, with audio output supported on all ports simultaneously and Digital to Analog conversion (DAC). It can reach up to 16.4ft (5m) with a passive HDMI cable; for longer distances, active HDMI cables or HDMI extenders can be used with this splitter for dual TVs, projectors, monitors, or displays. Setup is easy with no drivers required for this 1-input 2-output UHD HDMI 2.0 splitter box. With the EDID switch set to Auto, simply connect the cables and power to start using. Wide screen monitor formats are supported, and it is HDMI/DVI compatible.
