    Iron tip is not suited for working under high temperature for a long time , or the tip could be damaged easier. Solder melting point is 183°C, lead-free solder melting point is 227°C, 300-380°C is suitable for most soldering work. When the temperature is higher than 380°C, iron tip oxidation and loss is fast, affect the life of heating core. Higer than 380°C, temperature display will also be flashing, the higher the temperature, the faster the flashing!
