    MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION:

Step 1: The pad heater must be installed on a flat, uniform surface with 100% of the heater surface in contact with the object being heated.

Step 2: If intended application area is painted, paint must be removed prior to installation. The temperatures associated with heater operation can cause paint to crack causing the heater to delaminate from applied surface.

Step 3: To obtain adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean and dry. Some recommended surface cleaning solvents are isopropyl alcohol or heptane. The solvent must be non-oil based.

Step 4: Plug the pad heater in for a short time (about 5 seconds) to warm the adhesive.

Step 5: Slowly remove the cover on the heater to expose the pressure sensitive adhesive. Orient the heater as desired and apply it to the selected surface. Apply pressure to the entire heater with a roller to eliminate potential air gaps.

Step 6: Once applied to desired surface, energize heater for a short time (about 30 seconds). De-energize heater and again apply pressure.

Step7: Use the wire ties provided to secure the power cord in a manner that isolates the cord from hot surfaces and provides strain relief.

WARNING ::::::: Personal Injury: Avoid touching the heater while it is energized
