This NTG5S1 OBD2 car activation diagnostic tool is specially built for vehicles equipped with NTG5 S1 infotainment system. It helps you unlock builtin Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions through the standard OBDII diagnostic port, bringing smartphone mirroring feature to your factory car screen without replacing the whole head unit.
Just turn on vehicle ignition, insert this tool into OBD2 port, wait for the car infotainment system to reboot automatically, then remove the tool once activation completes. After activation, connect your phone with highquality USB cable to access CarPlay or AndroidAuto interface. Android Auto function requires vehicle firmware version 2016.9 or above for normal operation.
It communicates via original vehicle protocol and will not destroy original car settings. No permanent physical modification to car wiring. Smallsize solid plastic housing makes it easy to carry.
Important note: This tool ONLY works for NTG5 S1 system. It is NOT compatible with NTG5.0, NTG5E or other nonmatching infotainment versions. Please doubleconfirm your cars headunit system version before purchasing. If your car runs old firmware, please update system firmware first for successful activation. This activation tool is for specific supported models only, do not apply to unsupported vehicle systems.
