- Locate Hidden Cables & Find Cable Breaks Effortlessly: Connect the transmitter's red alligator clip to the test cable and pass the black clip through the grounding post. Turn on the receiver and scan along the suspected line, looking for a beeping sound. The sound will decrease and disappear near the fault point; the silent location is the cable break
- Rapidly Enhance Detection Signal: If the signal is weak, simply connect the black clip to a screwdriver inserted into the ground (preferably moist soil) to improve grounding and enhance signal strength. Achieve tracing lengths up to 1000 feet and depths of 3 feet in moist soil (12 feet in conduits)
