Battery tester for extreme temperatures
Car batteries usually last three to five years but can die suddenly. Even if your battery appears charged, it could be weak. Warm weather and regular driving can conceal this, but cold temperatures or neglect can lead to starting issues. It's crucial to get a battery test with a BA101 to be sure.
The AH value is required (from your battery label). If it's missing, choose the 'Battery Test' menu.
Select correct parameters (Type, CCA Rating). Attach clamps to terminals or as close as possible.
Ensure correct clamp connection, clean terminals, and verify battery voltage before testing.
Ensure normal battery voltage and turn off unnecessary electrical loads for more accurate testing.

Does this tester work with 6V or 24V batteries?
No, this tester is designed for 12V lead-acid batteries (30–200Ah). It does not support lithium, 6V (below 30Ah), or 24V systems. For 6V or 24V testing, consider the BA101 Pro or Plus, with Plus supporting 6V+12V and Pro supporting 12V+24V
Is this tester powered by a built-in battery?
No. Like most car battery testers, it is powered by the vehicle’s 12V battery during testing for more accurate results. Testers with built-in batteries are typically basic voltage/esistance testers and not intended for automotive system diagnostics.
How can I get the most accurate test results?
For best accuracy, make sure the correct battery type, battery standard, and CCA rating are selected. Always connect the clamps directly to the battery terminals. For stable results, test the battery after the engine has been off for about 2 hours.
Do I need to remove the battery from the vehicle to test it?
No. The battery can be tested directly on the vehicle, making routine checks faster and more convenient. Our tester offers two modes: “battery in vehicle” and “battery out of vehicle.” You can choose the mode that best fits your testing situation
Is this tester safe to use?
