From time to time, you will encounter voltage drops or face grounding issues along your fence line. When this happens, having a fence tester, also known as a voltage meter or voltage tester, is needed to identify your fence problem.
You Need A Fence Tester !!!
It’s important to buy a fence tester when you install your electric fence. If your fence is already up and running, and you don’t have a tester, then it’s time to get one.
For your purchase, get a voltage tester specifically designed for reading the energy from an electric fence. Unlike other voltage meters, fence testers are designed for easy use on electic fencing.

GK503B Neon Fence Tester
The neon lamp tester for fence uses neon lamps to indicate voltage produce on a fence line or by a fence controller.
It is designed for low impedance and standard duty fence controller.
Specifications
Model: GK503B

How to Use?
- Insert the probe in ground using the insulated grip .
- Attaching the test hook to wire fence.
- To avoid electric shock, do not touch any conductor (such as the test hook, the fence).
- The neon lamps light to indicate the voltage.
- If no neon lamp lights, the cause may be one of the following:
The probe or test hook’s connection is loos.
The fence has electrical problems.
The voltage under test is less than 2000V.
- Remove the test hook from the fence and the probe from ground.
ALLOSUN Offers Distinguished Quality Fence Tester

Many horse lovers and ranchers employ electrified pasture fences to confine their livestock. An electric pasture fence is designed to deliver a non-lethal shock to an animal.
It is actually a form of protection for horses and cattle. Better for them to be startled by a sudden electric jolt than to wander onto a highway and be killed.
To be certain that an electrified fence is doing its job, it must be tested periodically to make sure that there are no breaks in the wire and that the voltage level is high enough.
Provided you have the proper equipment, it's a relatively easy chore to!
[Precautions for use]
1. This product is designed for use with electric fences that operate at standard voltage and have low impedance.
2. Voltage measurement range: This product is capable of measuring voltages within the range of 600~7000V. Measurements outside this range may not be supported.
3. Operating environment: This product is intended for use in environments with temperatures between 0 ? and 40 ?, and relative humidity of 80% or lower. For storage, it is recommended to keep the device in conditions where the temperature is between -20 °C and 50 °C, and relative humidity is 85% or lower.
4. For optimal performance, ensure that the probe maintains good contact with the ground and the test hook is securely connected to the electric fence. Poor contact may affect the device's functionality.
5. If the electric fence has an electrical fault, it may result in the device not responding. If the device does not respond during use, it is advisable to check the above conditions as well as inspect the electric fence for potential electrical issues.
6. The tester does not require batteries and operates based on the principle of high voltage exciting neon lights. Due to the nature of bulb technology, the lights may not be extremely bright but should remain visible. In direct sunlight, it is recommended to shield the lights with your hand for better visibility. The brightness of the neon lights may increase with higher voltage levels.
