Use the wick trimmer which cuts way down on soot and flickering. This candle cutter will help prevent soot buildup on your walls and will lengthen the life of your candle.
Tips:For wick trimmer: If your candle has a large flame after it is lit, if necessary, take the size of the candle into consideration, cut the wick from the wax surface by 3 mm to 8 mm.
Candle snuffer is more designed for taper candles but you can still use it on pillar candles etc. Just be careful not to lower the dome into the pool of melted wax, cause it would get coated in wax.
Tips:For candle snuffer: You can just hover over the flame if you have a steady hand and it will still snuff out the candle. It just takes a extra couple of seconds so that the melted candle will not stick to it.k
Wick dipper that will help you get the wick straight or whatever if you need to.
Tips:For candle wick dipper: You simply pull the wick down into the melted wax and it snuffs it out without any smoke and also coats the wick with wax which seems to be helpful for re-lighting.
