- WHY ADD SALT TO THE WATER Mineral content of tap water varies. Without salt, water is not very conductive and may fail to heat up enough to generate steam. If the vaporizer does not product steam within 10 minutes of powering on, add 1-2 dashes of table salt; maximum of 1/8 tsp. Consult the included manual for detailed instructions and cleaning procedures before use.
- HOW TO USE THE MEDICINE CUP RESERVOIR Essential oils or liquid inhalantsavailable over the counter at drug stores, pharmacies or in the personal care department of most retailers, can be added to the medicine cup.
